NovaLang Support Policy

NovaLang is proprietary pre-release software maintained by João Antonio.

Supported releases

Only the most recent 0.2.x alpha build distributed through an official NovaLang channel receives fixes. Users may be required to upgrade before a problem can be investigated. The alpha has no production-availability or backward-compatibility guarantee.

Support channels

• Security reports: follow SECURITY.md.
• Installation and known failures: consult the troubleshooting guide on the official website.
• Product feedback and ordinary bug reports: use the private channel announced with the distributed build.

Every report should include the output of nova version, operating system, command, complete diagnostic, and a minimal .nova reproduction when safe.

Exclusions

The following are not supported:

• builds modified or redistributed by third parties;
• old alpha versions after a replacement is published;
• execution of untrusted programs without operating-system isolation;
• reverse engineering or access to private implementation details outside an explicit agreement;
• production workloads relying on alpha compatibility.
